Michael O. Sellinger, P.E.
President
Michael attended Lawrence Institute of Technology where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. Over the years, he worked at various A/E firms in the Metro Detroit Area and was employed as Mechanical Project Engineer and Project Manager.
After working in the industry for several years, Michael established Sellinger Associates, Inc. in 1996. He has over 30+ years’ experience designing mechanical systems in the construction industry, where he worked on a broad range of projects in the Metro Detroit Area and nation-wide.
As President of Sellinger Associates, Inc. Michael oversees all project engineering management, client relations and administration. Michael is also a Qualified Commissioning Expert with over ten years’ experience in the commissioning process.
Steven J. Benaske, P.E.
Vice President
Prior to joining Sellinger Associates in 1999, Steve was employed as Project Engineer and
Project Manager at various A/E firms in the Metro Detroit area.
Steve has 25+ years’ experience in mechanical systems design. He has a wide range of engineering experience on projects including, but not limited to:

As Vice President of Sellinger Associates, Inc., Steve oversees project management, system evaluation, and project design development of specifications and selection of equipment. Steve is an integral part of SAI, working closely with clients and committed to project excellence.
Bennie Disney
Mechanical Designer
Bennie joined Sellinger Associates, Inc. in 2013. He began his career back in 1985 working as draftsman, over the years he worked for several M/E firms and eventually worked his way up to Mechanical Designer.

Naum Popovski
Mechanical Designer
Naum graduated from Wayne State University with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. Naum has over 18 years’ experience designing HVAC and plumbing systems for the building construction industry.
He joined Sellinger Associates in 2003, his project experience ranges from but not limited to:

As Engineering Designer for Sellinger Associates, Naum’s responsibilities include system evaluation, project design/layout, development of project specifications, selection of equipment and
interface with clients.
Naum is a Qualified Commissioning Expert and has vast experience in commissioning projects with a Professional Certification in Qualified /
Commissioning Process Provider (QCP / QCxP).
