Alina Murariu-Dobrin, M.D.

A native of Romania, Alina Muariu-Dobrin, M.D., Ph.D. specializes in internal medicine.

Dr. Dobrin received her medical degree from the School of Medicine at the University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Romania; she later served as a general medicine resident at Odobescu Hospital and the County Hospital. In 1997, she enrolled in the University’s pharmacology doctoral program, but left after two years to come to the United States.

Upon arrival in Michigan, Dr. Dobrin received a Ph.D. in physiology at Wayne State University. Following school, she completed a residency in internal medicine in the categorical program at St. Joseph Mercy Oakland Hospital, an externship in internal medicine at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital and an observership at Oakwood Hospital.

An associate member of the American College of Physicians and member of the American Medical Association, she is licensed to practice medicine in Michigan.

Dr. Dobrin is affiliated with Troy Beaumont Hospital.
